Water itself has no pattern and little color, except for the forces of wind and tide and the reflections of light and sky. In my paintings and prints, I aim to evoke the feeling and movement of water, the surface wave patterns and the sand ripples left behind. I am fascinated by the sheer liquidity, the drift and flow of currents and the sea's pull out to an infinite beyond.
